What Geecee sees
Geecee reads the messages and photos in group chats it has been added to, and messages people send it directly. It only sees chats someone added it to. Everyone in a chat can see when Geecee joins.
What Geecee keeps
- Recent messages from the chat, so it can follow the conversation.
- Things it saves on purpose: plans, dates, to-dos, polls, payments, bets, quotes.
- Private things you DM it (like a budget or dates you can't do). These are only ever shown to the group as totals, never with your name.
- Phone numbers or emails as they appear in the chat, so it knows who said what.
Who else sees it
To answer, Geecee sends parts of the conversation to an AI provider (Google Gemini). For phone calls it uses a calling provider (Vapi), and calls are recorded so Geecee can report what was said. We do not sell your data or use it for ads.
Early access list
If you join the early access list on this site, we keep your email (and the optional note) only to tell you when Geecee is ready for your group. Email us to be removed.
Deleting it
Say "geecee forget everything" in a chat (then confirm) to delete everything Geecee saved about that chat. Remove Geecee from the chat to stop it reading new messages. Backups are kept for 14 days, then deleted.
Age
Geecee is not for anyone under 13.
